A review of the Boots are Red

I am unforgivably late in posting a link to this review:
The Boots Are Red by Adam Lawson (book review) by Ed at 52 in 52 Weeks.

It took me a few pages to get into this book while the back-story was developed, but once the pace of the story picked up I was hooked and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. With interesting characters, exciting action and a conspiracy that leaves very few people Ron can trust, this was an entertaining read. One other thing I loved about this book is noticing the contrast of today’s technology compared to the 1950’s. It’s obvious that Adam has done his research.

Indeed. I know more than any man should about tape recorders from the 1950s. Perhaps I’ll go back to posting my “This week in 195X” posts, maybe stylize them a bit to sound like a newspaper.

He also offers fair criticism; but I’ll leave that for the reader to go and read.
