I’m now doing physical therapy 2-3 times a week. I’ve got most of the pain handled, although using the cane is making my back hurt, and mostly now it’s all about getting the muscles back and the swelling down.
Interesting thing about muscles. The quad has a portion that is the first to quit and last to come back. Unfortunately, this is right by the inner thigh portion of your leg, right above the knee, and seems to be fairly important. Mine is pretty much wasted at this point.
I can walk without a cane, with a limp. ‘Course, I have a limp with the cane. Interestingly, I think Ron’s same knee was the one tore up in Korea.
My every day carry now includes a pimp cane.
