So far, so good.
I’ve managed to avoid a lot of carbs, sticking mostly to broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. A busy weekend took me out of it a bit but I managed to avoid anything too detrimental. No soda, no snacks, no sugar is easy once you make the decision.
No alcohol is even easier. I solely drink water and (black, or mostly black) coffee now. I might drink (no sugar added) tea as the week goes on… if I feel like making it.
Last week was harder with the hunger pangs and a serious, near daily headache. Upped my salt for the headache and it went away, but the hunger is just getting used to eating something else.
I kind of miss sandwiches. They’re just so very easy and convenient.
On to the remaining month or so of this; it’s getting easier, so I’m going to cut more as I adjust.
